Description |
Fronds monomorphic, subcoriaceous. Stipe 45 cm long, strawcoloured, greyish at the base, with a few light brown scales. Lamina pinnate , lanceolate in outline, 30 x 20-25 cm; pinnae 2-3 pairs, oval in outline, apex sharply tapered, caudate, base wedge-shaped, margin entire, 10-12 x 3-4 cm, making an angle of 50-60° with the rhachis; apical pinna oval-oblong in outline, 15 x 6-7 cm, slightly decurrent; rhachis smooth, straw-coloured; lateral veins prominent, veinlets forming irregular areols with included veinlets. Sori small, situated at the end of a short veinlet, forming 2 regular lines in between the lateral veins; indusium mostly obsolete. and an apical pinna resembling the laterale ones, ovale-oblong in outline |
